  • What is conveyancing?

Conveyancing is the legal process of transferring property ownership from one person to another.

  • When do I need to involve a lawyer when buying & selling a house?

Once the house or property sale offer has been accepted, although we do recommend giving us a quick call before this to make sure that you’ve got everything lined up.

This is why we’re happy to talk with you by email or a free 15 minute phone call to get you started.

  • How does the house sale & purchase process work?

Whether you're buying or selling, the process follows a general path of preparing the offer, negotiating, agreeing on the offer, and carrying out the settlement.

  • How do I do my due diligence?

As your solicitor for purchasing property we will guide you through due diligence, checking for any potential risks.

  • What happens if new information comes to light?

As the house sale offer or due diligence process progresses, new info might come to light that could affect the property sale. In these cases it might require a renegotiation of the offer, or extended settlement date for example.

As your property lawyer we will assist you with navigating this with ease.
